Despite there being few pictures this 154 page book from Elius Books is crammed full of anecdotes, reflections and observations celebrating John Thaw's life. One of the main features is an interview with Colin Dexter on Inspector Morse while others deal with different aspects of Thaw's career from his early days to The Sweeney and onto Kavanagh Q.C.. There is 'An American Perspective', 'Mimicry and Mistress', 'A Tribute from Merseyside', 'Stranded on a Musical Island', 'Provenence Crosses the Atlantic', 'Swansongs' and even a section on cancer of the oesophagus.
